Stadium renovations on display in Friday's home football opener

Those who haven't been to Jack LaMarca Stadium recently may be surprised when they see the major changes that have taken place over the summer.

To celebrate the $2.4 million stadium renovation project, the Punxsutawney Area School Board is inviting everyone to come out and give it a look-see for free.

The Chucks will christen their renovated stadium with free admission to tonight's home opener against the Clarion Bobcats.

Superintendent Dr. Thomas A. Lesniewski said in regard to the newly renovated stadium that it is much safer than it used to be.
