PUNXSUTAWNEY — Punxsutawney Borough Police have requested arrest warrants for two Glen Campbell residents in connection with a robbery that took place Aug. 25 at Punxsy Plaza in Punxsutawney.

Police allege that Brittani Scott entered the rear of a Pine Valley Produce truck and demanded that the employee inside stay where she was while she removed the cash box. The employee attempted to grab the cash box, but police said Scott pulled her away from it.

Scott fled the truck while the employee yelled for help. A bystander near the West End Uni-Mart intervened, causing Scott to drop the cash box. The bystander pursued her, and she fled into a mini-van operated by Michael Barnett, police said.

Multiple witnesses came forward to help police identify the suspects. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Scott or Barnett is asked to contact the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department at (814) 938-6220.
