Hunters from across the state participated in the Mosquito Creek Coyote Hunt, braving the cold to venture out at night or in the early morning seeking one of the “wiliest” Pennsylvania critters: the coyote. A total cash purse of $48,360 was collected, with cash prizes awarded for the largest female and male coyotes taken, as well as second- and third-place prizes awarded. $19,344 is also divided among all entrees.
