Local hunters bag bucks on opening day

Staff Writer

Monday was the opening day of rifle season for antlered deer in Pennsylvania, and a number of local hunters took advantage of the opening day of the season to bag their trophies. John Martino of Punxsutawney shot this 200-pound, 10-point buck at 8 a.m. on Monday while hunting in Young Township.
