Juvenile arrested after shooting threat at Brookville high school

On March 1, the Brookville Borough Police Department charged a 14-year-old boy with terroristic threats following an investigation.

Police were alerted to threats made by the suspect against the Brookville Area Jr./Sr. High School. During the investigation, it was determined that the juvenile had provided details of a potential school shooting to multiple sources.

During an interview with the suspect, he disclosed to police that he had homicidal thoughts and provided alarming details. Those potential threats were negated by police and the juvenile was taken into custody.
