Indiana County Sheriff’s Department holds Awareness & Safety for Seniors program

In light of the news of recent scams that appear to be targeting the elderly, the Indiana County Sheriff's Department recently held an Awareness and Safety for Seniors program at the Mahoning Hills Social Center. The program was conducted by Indiana County Sheriff Bob Fyock, who brought along his K9 deputy Bak.

The purpose of the program was to alert seniors to the recent scams that have been circulating various areas, with the main targets being the elderly. Other topics discussed included identity theft and home invasions.
