The characters in "The Champagne Charlie Stakes" pause for a pre-race toast in this scene from the Punxsutawney Theatre Arts Guild's latest production. Performances of Bruce Graham's poignant comedy are set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3, and again on March 9 and 10. A matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, will conclude the show's local run. All performances are held at the auditorium of the Punxsutawney Area Middle School. Tickets are sold at the door. The play contains adult language. Pictured (from left) are Kathy S. Dinsmore, Bob Starzenski and Tony Simmons, with Debra Dinsmore and Tim
Cooper seated in the foreground.
