Clymer man killed in one-vehicle accident

The owner of a local night spot in Commodore crashed into a house after suffering a cardiac-related episode on his way home at 11:52 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

According to Indiana County Coroner Jerry L. Overman Jr., Todd Roy Deitman, 55, Clymer, the owner of the Last Chance Saloon in Commodore, suffered a cardiac-related episode prior to crashing into a house moments after leaving the establishment.

Overman said the cause of death was ruled as acute myocardial infarction.

He said the Pennsylvania State Police investigated the circumstances of the accident.

Overman said that an autopsy will not be conducted, and no further details are available at this time.

He said that funeral arrangements are incomplete.
