50TH ANNUAL G'HOG FEST WINDING DOWN

Those who attended the Thursday evening portion of the 50th annual Groundhog Festival were treated to a country concert featuring Chris Higbee, who brought some special guests on stage during his performance — his children, Alex and Lucy Belle.

• 10 a.m. to noon — Children’s activities (ages 6 to 12) at the Lattimer House (this year’s theme is “Boom Town Era Activities,” sponsored by the Punxsutawney Area Historical & Genealogical Society)
• 9 to 10 a.m. — Registration for 8th annual Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull (sponsored by London Farm Supply)
• 10 to 11 a.m. — Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull (tractors are supplied by the sponsor; prizes for winners in age groups 4 & 5, 6 & 7 and 8 & 9)
• 11:30 a.m. to noon — Granpa Cratchet Show
• 1 to 1:30 p.m. — Granpa Cratchet Show
• 2 to 2:30 p.m. — Granpa Cratchet Show
• 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. — Rick K. & The Allnighters (co-sponsored by S&T Bank and the Punxsutawney Rotary Club)
• 9 to 10 p.m. — Rick K. & The Allnighters (second show)
