Punxsy 11- and 12-year-old All-Star Kate Horner (pictured above during a game last week) hit a go-ahead inside-the-park home run in the second inning of Punxsy’s game against West Point on Wednesday to help lead the Punxsy squad to a 4-0 victory in the opening round of the Little League Softball State Tournament. Punxsy looks to improve to 2-0 tonight against Bald Eagle. For a full recap, see Page 6 of Thursday's edition of The Spirit.
