RMA celebrates all things Seuss

Friday afternoon, the Rebecca M. Arthurs Memorial Library hosted a celebration in honor of the man himself Dr. Seuss, who was born on March 2, 1902, and wrote numerous children books that we all know and love today. As part of the celebration, children were invited to the library to hear some of his books read by volunteers, as well as visit one of the stations to play games and make a craft. There were also Dr. Seuss-themed refreshments for kids to enjoy. (First photo) Pictured are the children listening as the volunteer reads McElligot’s Pool. Some of the games kids were able to play included (second photo) Pin the Star on the Sneetch and (third photo) Cat in the Hat Stack.
