YOUNG TOWNSHIP — Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred around 6 p.m. Friday at a residence in Young Township.

At the time of the incident, police said the victim noticed a gray Hyundai Accent in her driveway and attempted to locate the driver by looking out windows around the entire house.

When she could not locate the driver, she returned to the window overlooking the driveway and yelled out to whoever was there.

The victim then saw a white male wearing a black Penguins jacket at the garage door. Police said the suspect went directly to the gray car and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as being between 20 and 30 years old, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet tall, with a medium build, short, dark hair and thick, dark-rimmed glasses.

The victim was able to get a picture of the car as it pulled away. The car has a vertical crack near the center of the front bumper.

Anyone with information is urged to contact PSP-Punxsutawney at 938-0510. All calls will be kept confidential.
