Police apprehend man in relation to DuBois homicide after a lengthy pursuit

Reports of DuBois area schools being on lockdown Tuesday morning brought fear and concern to many, as the news came out that Pennsylvania State Police, with the assistance of other agencies, were searching for a man in relation to a homicide investigation that was taking place in Clearfield County.

On Tuesday evening, police confirmed that Joseph Robert Fields, 35, who had been sought in relation to the incident that occurred in the City of DuBois early Tuesday morning, had been apprehended.
