The driver of this Jeep Wrangler, pictured here, lost control of her vehicle at 2:29 a.m. Thursday morning on Route 310 in Young Township while traveling north, which caused it to slide, impact a guardrail and a utility pole and roll onto its side down a steep embankment.

The driver was not injured in the crash and was able to get out of the Jeep and walk to her residence.

She later returned to the scene of the accident.

Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police were assisted at the
scene by members of the Punxsutawney Fire Department (Central and Elk Run), McCalmont Township Volunteer Fire Company — which was there as the medical first responder — and Jefferson County EMS.

No further details were available at Spirit press time.
