TODAY
• 9:30 a.m. — Registration for Teddy Bear Picnic. Categories — Gr-Gr-Girly Bear; April Showers Bring May Flowers Bear; Party Bear; Brave Armed Forces Bear; My Bear and I (dressed alike).
• 10 a.m. — Teddy Bear Picnic, sponsored by Punxsutawney Career Women’s Club. In case of rain, event will be held on the second floor of the Eagles across from Barclay Square.
• 10 a.m. to noon — Children’s Workshops, Boom Town-era children’s activities (ages six to 12) at the Lattimer House, sponsored by the Punxsutawney Historical & Genealogical Society.
• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Face Painting by Make-A-Wish.
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Children’s activities/information, Jefferson County Head Start.
• 10 to 11:30a.m. — Dennie Huber, balloons.
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. — Sadecky’s Puppets, “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”
• 12:30 to 1 p.m. — Dennie Huber, magic.
• 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. — Sadecky’s Puppets, “The Prince and the Pauper.”
• 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. — Dennie Huber, balloons.
• 7 p.m. – Groundhog 5K Run/Two-Mile Fun Walk. Registration at Community Center starting at 5:30 p.m. Registration form and information at www.punxsutawneyphil.com.commcenter
• 7:30 to 8:30, 9 to 10 p.m. – Large Flowerheads (1960s classic rock, two shows).

WEDNESDAY
• 10 a.m. to noon — Children’s Workshops, Boom Town era children’s activities (ages six to 12) at the Lattimer House, sponsored by the Punxsutawney Historical & Genealogical Society.
• 11:30 to 12:15 p.m., 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. — Michelle’s Magical Poodles.
• 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. — Sadecky’s Puppets, “Aesop’s Fables.”
• 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. — Sadecky’s Puppets, “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”
• 4 to 5:30 p.m. — Saddle up – Country, co-sponsored by First Commonwealth Bank.
• 7 to 8 p.m., 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. — Moore Brothers (variety, sponsored by Marion Center Bank).
• 9:30 to 9:45 p.m. — Fireworks, sponsored by Thermal Gard Building Products Inc. and local distributor Burke & Sons.
