New Individuals bring an old-fashioned feel to festival; Wednesday's schedule

Tuesday night, the activity in Barclay Square was sponsored by FEMCO Machine, and that activity included a group called the New Individuals bringing an old-fashioned feel to the Groundhog Festival with their oldies performance.

Groundhog Festival Schedule of events

WEDNESDAY, JULY 2

10 a.m.-noon — Children’s activities (ages 6-12) at the Lattimer House. This year’s theme is “Native America.” Sponsored by Punxsutawney Historical Society

11 a.m.-4 p.m. — Dennie Huber, Balloons

10 a.m.-7 p.m. — Friends of the Library Used Book Sale, across from the park at the Punxsy Eagles Club

10:30-11 a.m. — Airborne Jugglers

12:30-1:15 p.m. — Sadecky Puppets (New Friends) Co-sponsored by PNC Bank

11:30 a.m.-noon — Skybound Canine Entertainment (Dog Shows)

1:30-2 p.m. — Airborne Jugglers

2:30-3 p.m. — Skybound Canine Entertainment (Dog Shows)

3:15-4 p.m. — Sadecky Puppets (A Need to Read)

4:15-4:45 p.m. — Airborne Jugglers

5-5:30 pm — Skybound Canine Entertainment (Dog Shows)

7 p.m. – 19th Annual Community Center Groundhog 5K Run/2-Mile Fun Walk, Registration at Community Center starting at 5:30 p.m., Registration form & information go to: www.punxsutawneycommunitycenter.org

7:30-8:30 p.m. — Mega Stars of Country

9-10 p.m. — Mega Stars of Country (2nd show)
