Nancy Lee Carlton, 80, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at home.

She was born May 7, 1933, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Morris) Barnoff.

She was married to Pierre "Pete" E. Carlton, who survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Punxsutawney Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years; two daughters, Lorna Ondrasik and husband Robert of Brookville and Hallie Carlton and friend Marsha Emhoff and her son Leif Perry of Punxsutawney; and by one brother, Robert Barnoff and wife Norma of State College, Pa.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Nicholas Ondrasik and wife Deborah of El Paso, Texas, Piere Pomrenke and husband Joseph of Blackwood, N.J., and Sydney Ondrasik and fiancé Edward Manbeck of Bear, Del.; and by one great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Ondrasik.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Weiss and Mary Lou Filler.

At the family's request, there will be no public visitation.

A private memorial will be held at a later date, and donations can be made to Aseracare of Brookville in lieu of flowers.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
