Marvin E. Richardson, 82

Marvin E. Richardson, 82, of Rossiter, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at his home.

He was born June 12, 1930, in Johnsonburg, a son of the late Lee and Jennie (Yohe) Richardson.

July 1, 1953, he married his sweetheart, Mary Virginia (Reece) Richardson, who survives, of Rossiter.

Mr. Richardson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Marvin was a 1949 graduate of Marion Center High School.

He was the owner of Marvin's Used Cars since 1977, and in 1991, began operating Marvin's Garage with his son Dan.

He loved collecting coins, watching Westerns, car auctions and traveling.

He was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by a son, Dan Richardson of Rochester Mills; a daughter, Debbie Passey and husband Quinn of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Robert Richardson and wife Norma of Idaho and Rodger Richardson and wife Ethel of Rossiter; a sister; Jennielee Fox of Florida; and three grandchildren; Sam Passey and Jacob and Sarah Richardson.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Bishop Ray Hanson officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Rochester Mills.
