LAUREL FEST QUEEN

The 2012 Western Pennsylvania Laurel Festival Queen’s Pageant was held Tuesday night at Brookville Jr.-Sr. High School. Eight contestants from western Pennsylvania competed for the title, which is awarded annually to a young woman between the ages of 16 and 20. This year, Kathryn Steele (center), a graduate of Brookville Jr.-Sr. High School, was crowned the 2012 Western Pennsylvania Laurel Festival Queen.
