Flooding Update: Updated list of roads closed in Jefferson County (as of 9 p.m.)

PennDOT has released the following statement on road closures:
The following state roads are closed in Jefferson County due to flooding and will open once the water recedes.

The following state roads are closed in Jefferson County due to flooding and will open once the water recedes.

9 pm Changes:

Route 3031 (Coolspring Road) is open between Route 36 in Oliver Township and Route 3005 (Pansy Ringgold Road) in Beaver Township.

Route 3001 (Pheasant Hollow Road) is open in both directions between Route 3014 (Sprankle Mills Road) in Oliver Township and Route 536 in Ringgold Township.

Route 949 is open in Heath Township between Olean Road and Callen Run Road.

Route 310 is open in both directions between Tenth Street in Winslow Township and Route 2023 (Knoxdale Road) in McCalmont Township.

Route 3018 (East Branch Road) is open in Oliver Township from Route 3014 (Sprankle Mills Road) to Cool Spring Road.

Route 2008 (Berry Creek) in Stump Creek is open between Route 119 and Buggy Road in Henderson Township.

Route 2010 (Sportman Dam Road) is open in Winslow Township from Route 310 to Blose Hill Road.

Route 2012 (Sykesville/Troutville Road) is open in Henderson Township between Route 119 and the Clearfield County line.

Route 1015 (Beechtree Road) is closed in both direction between Route 830 and Route 1008 (Rattlesnake Road) in Washington Township.

Open

Route 36 is open in Oliver Township between River Road and Coolspring Road.

Route 3005 (Pansy Ringgold Road) is open in both directions in Oliver Township between Worthville Road in Ringgold Township and Route 3031 (Coolspring Road) in Beaver Township.

Route 322 is open in both directions from Beech Street in Reynoldsville to Walls Road in Winslow Township near the Clearfield County line.

Route 536 is open in both directions between Route 36 in Young Township and Porter Road in Perry Township.

Closed

Closure near the intersection of Route 119 and Route 410 in Henderson Township due to water over the bridge.

Route 1008 (Rattlesnake Road) is closed in Snyder Township from Sipple Road to the Elk County line.

Route 119 is closed in both directions in Henderson Township between Rock Dump Road and Sykesville/Troutville Road.

The local bridge at Route 1019 (Old Grade Road) in Washington Township is closed.

Remember to slow down and be alert for low visibility and flooding in heavy downpours. Don’t drive through standing water. If you pull off the road, make sure you are completely off the roadway in a safe spot and away from pooling water. PennDOT recommends that motorists avoid unnecessary travel in the affected area.

NOTE: The following roadways are also reportedly closed in Clearfield County at this time:

• Route 255 (East DuBois Avenue) from the intersection with McCracken RUn Road in DuBois City to Penfield. A local detour is in place.

• Route 4003 (Mine Road) is closed between the intersection with Route 410 (Shamokin Trail) and the intersection with Route 4002 (Stanley Bottom Road) in Brady Township.

• Route 3009 (McGees Mills Road) is closed between the intersection with Buhite Road and the intersection with Grand Road in Brady Township.

There is also a lane restriction on Interstate 80 westbound that is creating congestion near Exit 97 (DuBois/Brockway).
