Familiar Faces Friday! Mike Horner

August 1, 2013

Mike Horner

(Editor’s note: This is the first in a series of “Familiar Faces Friday” features to be written by Spirit reporter Destiny Pifer. The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s familiar face is Mike Horner.)

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Mike Horner is a recognizable face
around town.

You may recognize him from The Medicine Shoppe, where he greets everyone who comes through the door with a smile.

Born and raised in Punxsutawney, Horner graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School and earned his bachelor’s of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh.
