Chadwick Aaron Heckman, 41

Chadwick Aaron Heckman, 41, of Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.

He was born Jan. 8, 1972, in DuBois.

On July 1, 1995, he married Crystal Lynn Brestovich. She survives.

Mr. Heckman worked as a meter tech at TW Phillips for more than 10
years.

Chad was a beloved husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his kids.

He enjoyed restoring classic "muscle" cars, playing poker and pulling pranks.

He had a great sense of humor and liked to make everyone laugh.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Preston Thomas Heckman and Amber Lindsey Heckman, both at home; his twin brother, Bruce Heckman of Punxsutawney; and brother Kevin Heckman and wife Shelly of Ohl.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Bruce Heckman.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bill Young.

Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Frostburg.

Memorial donations may be made in Chad's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
