Author with local ties brings book on motherhood home for Mother’s Day Eve signing

One of the most difficult things to be — not just in the midst of the things that are going on around us today, but any time — is a good parent. One young woman, who was raised in Punxsutawney, knows the difficulty of being a good parent and has felt inspired to share some of her own experiences through the writing of a book.

Regan Long — a mother of three: Kendyl, Kaden and Kennedy — recently released her first book, "101 Moments of Motherhood," and next weekend, she'll be coming back to her roots for a book signing at Caterina's Cafe on the eve of, quite ironically, Mother's Day.

Long's signing will be next Saturday, May 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at Caterina's Cafe in the ATA Building on North Findley Street.
