(Top photo) 2011 PAHS grad Kody Young (right) recently participated in the NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships March 9-10 in Pueblo, Co. With a first-round pin at the championships, Young scored his 17th victory by fall, placing him in a tie with St. Cloud's Tad Merritt for the 2011-12 Division II Most Falls award. Young went 1-2 at the national tournament to complete his freshman campaign with a 33-13 overall record, setting a Mercyhurst record for single-season wins by a freshman.
