Raiders win second-straight district crown

CLARION — When Brookville's Zane Hackett attacked the rim during the District IX Class AA title game at Clarion University, he was cheered on by students chanting "Bonesaw!" and holding fake cardboard saws.

Hackett used his six-foot, six-inch frame to challenge Moniteau physically inside, scoring 20 points to help Brookville (22-2) win its second consecutive district championship, 58-49.

"It felt great. Everything was going in. We came out and started with a lot of intensity," Hackett said. "They played hard the whole game, and we were able to match what they were doing."
